According to UNHCR the Evacuation Transit Center shelters individuals or groups of people facing acute danger in their country of first arrival and in need of immediate evacuation. Refugees are hosted in the center upto 6 months while waiting for final resettlement in a third country. Refugees arrived in the center have been resettled in the USA and Canada.
